Iran Captures 2nd US Pilot, and Treats Him With Decency and Dignity

April 4, 2026

From government sources it has been reported that the 2nd unnamed member of the flight crew shot down in an F-15 over Iran, has been captured. Human rights groups have confirmed he is being treated with decency and dignity and not been subjected to any form of undue duress and certainly not being subjected to any form of torture.

He is being detained as a POW and is being given access to all rights afforded to a POW and more.

This is a statement from the captured crew member, ‘I was captured by military police who arrested me and took me into custody. I have in the last 24 hrs been treated with respect, I have been examined by a docto, after a brief and non intrusive examination he advised I should have some rest and a good meal and we parted amicably. It was 4pm then and they took me for a debriefing/intrerrogation, and I will say it lasted for 2 intense hours, but at no point was I hit, I was shouted at, they tried hard to convince me I would have a better stay as a POW if I just told them the base I took off from… I told them nothing they didn’t know, but I ‘cooperated’ and they treated me with respect.’

After the interrogation I was taken back to my cell. Wondering if I would ever be fed or if the torture brigade was on the way.

Maybe 15mins later a guard arrived and opened the door with a steaming tray. He laid it on my spartial bed and I saw a plate full of rice, a small dish with some fruits, a lentil soup that was well seasoned and a slice of bread. And no comment, just a guard doing his job.

Turns out I was being kept in the ‘VIP’ prison, the cells didn’t get locked, you couldn’t escape, armed men kept watch, but you could walk freely in the compound, I worked myself into the other prisoners shower schedule, we’d always defer to one another to use the shower on our own. Food was regular and acceptable. Mutual respect was paramount, the Iranian prisoners didn’t treat me as any sort of ‘infidel’ or lesser person, they treated me with respect as a fellow ‘rebel’ who’s trying to do what they can to fight oppressive governments.
