The Religion Solution

December 25, 2025

Believe in them all. Stop making it an exclusive us vs them proposition, agree, we’re all on a path to some form of spiritual enlightenment, lets let each soul find their own path.

Every religion offers something, for the body and the soul and the community and some also try direct law, but you’re in a world you can pick.

If you don’t live in a country where your free to choose then you have to move. Simple.

Parents should offer a plethora of religious pursuits to their kids, despite how they were brought up.

Free choice to religion is a right, it is a choice a government should give to the civilians and also a choice parents should offer to their children.

Japan is a great example. Buddism, 64% of the population, Shinto 70% of the population, how can this be you ask, because in Japan religions are not exclusive clubs, some of those who follow Buddism and Shinto are also Christian… They don’t subscride to the us or them ideas, they are open to any path of improving your life.

And it is a really good way to look at religion.

Another example, take Scotland, on the 21st of Dec many greet one another with ‘Happy Winter Solstice’ greetings, then on the 25th just as readily say ‘Merry Chistmas’ to one another. Pagans before Christianity used to celebrate the ‘return’ of the Sun every year shortly after Dec 21st, they’d notice the Sun is returning and would have a celebration. Is it by design the prohpet of Christianity happened to be born on the 25th of Dec?

In Kenya I know a lovely family and the mother is Christian with two wonderful daughters who are Muslims and at this minute they are out having a good time together celebrating Christmas, and the mother always does something for her girls at Eid… its a perfect collusion of two theologies even within a family.

And what should religions do about current conflicts ongoing… the best answer I have seen for this was when I was growing up in Scotland in the 1990s and the conflicts were still ongoing between the Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland, and I was told by a lass from Ireland who I had a thing with for a while that I can only say 1 thing in Ireland if I am confronted by either side about my affiliation and it was simply ‘A curse on both your houses for the Troubles’.

Each member of every religion has to get their own house in order and not complain about the ‘other side’ but work on reform at home.

If your saying you promote peace, then your committing treason to your religion if your own actions don’t promote peace and unity.
