The Day of Pi

March 14, 2018

May he rest in peace. This blog is dedicated to Stephen Hawking whom I have been a fan of since forever. He’d have argued that’s not possible unless… time travel was.

He was as much smarter than me as Einstein and Telsa where. They are all a loss and all deserve our respect. Complete genius’.

Today is the day of pi which mathematicians celebrate every year because of this 3.1415. It’s pi and the first 4 decimal points after it. The first 4… it’s still growing, the numbers after the.

It’s why march the 14th is pi day. It’s ironic we should lose a maths genius on this day but with some poetic license to be respectful of in their to.

He was brilliant. Loved and was loved by all who encountered him.

By god did he push on the sciences. He took Einsteins theory of relativity and mashed it into quantum physics some and that’s a key boundary still to be tackled. Anyone?

But Mr. Hawkings for sure pushed it on loads. We found the anti-matter particle thanks in some to his research. Known as the Hogkins particle. Or anti-god particle.

His contribution to pushing on the sciences would justify a book and they will be en route and well deserved. There will be more than a few comments.

My daughter once asked me if she could go back in time and shoot me. She was 9 and we were discussing time travel, like you do on a long road trip. I had to ask… could you exist then?

Her poor wee mind pickled and she did well trying to keep up. Bless. She was 9 then.

We ended up discussing time/space warp theories and arguably neither of us understood what we were on about but we skirted the issue and aye kept her entertained for a bit. Maybe made her a bit smarter to, she sure used her noggin on that trip.

Today we celebrate a sad day in geekville and pay respect to one of our greats.

Mr Hawkings. Born into disease yet a beautiful force of nature to one and all.

He did say “It would not be much of a universe if it wasn’t home to the people you love”

Very astute man and not just in science but also in life.
