If you’re on death row, you are allowed a visit from a priest of your religion to attend to your spiritual needs before your execution. So should any religion ever abandon a member of its congregation for committing evil acts?

Such is the case with Danny Masterson. He raped women while a member of Scientology. Scientology ‘handled’ him internally with their own ‘justice’ but the women themselves were not given any justice. Masterson just had to donate more to the Scientology cause to ‘make up the damage’ but the women themselves got no closure.

Until they left Scientology and took him to court. Where he was sentenced to 30 years in jail for raping them.

Now Scientology has expelled Masterson. If religion is supposed to act as your moral guide… why would you abandon those who have sinned?

So why has Scientology expelled this rapist?

Because Scientology is trying to distance themselves from their own involvement in these rapes.
