Putin’s Demise

March 15, 2022

In the last 20 years since I became aware of Putin, I have to say the impression I have got is he is chasing the hard man image. Of biggest badass anywhere image anyway.

He’s gunning to be considered to be a big gun.

But he’s made himself look like a bairn in a pram throwing out their dummy!

He wanted to be considered the most badass president ever but he has completely given that title to the president of Ukraine, Zelenskyy and done it with honours.

Zelenskyy is now a national hero who with never die from memory and if he dies in this conflict Russia has a martyr on their hands. You worry about suicide bombers?! this’ll be that AND grannies with molotov’s for dessert!

It is very apt. I have to say Zelenskyy is the first politico to ever impress me, and he doesn’t even have a background in the military or politics. Full kudos, all my respect.

Three things will emerge from this conflict and a broken Ukraine is not the least of our worries globally once the dusts settled and Putin’s disposed of or contained.

Rebuilding Ukraine will be a first priority and I look forward to it. While it will be on top of a sea of suffering and misery it will bring a spirit and revival that will inspire the world.

But it will also be a catalyst to two forces, one is the reliance on fossil fuels from Russia and fossil fuels in general but also a reliance on any tyrant.

Putin has inadvertently thrown the world at the feet of the Green parties everywhere and the Elon Musks of the world to embrace renewable energy and dampen reliance on fossill fuel.
