Crypto Gambling

June 15, 2021

Gambling can be fun.

I’ve had a memorable outing if you like that taught me the works in a sense.

I spent a day at the horse races and my pal asked what my budget was for the night out. I said ‘£100’ he said ‘Put £70 in your wallet and don’t touch it, bet with the £30 and add any winnings to your wallet and don’t ever touch your wallet to bet, only bet from the £30.’

I did just that and after a fun and very exciting 4 hours at the races I headed up town with £83 in my wallet. The £70 I put by plus £13 I had won. Or ‘won’ if you think is cost me £30 to win it.

So did I lose £17? I don’t think I did. I had £100 expendable income to waste to entertain myself and I had just spent £17 on 4 quite fun hours and at one point in one race if my pony came in I was in line to walk away with £100s in my wallet. My pony came in 3rd for that race.

But standing by the fence and see my pony move up in the pack a bit before finally losing out had me leaping and shouting my head off for madness while 20 tons of horse muscle galloped past me. It was an experience I will not ever forget in a hurry. And it meant I ‘lost’ £17.

I went to an Eminem concert once and the ticket was £60 and rather have spent my time in a bath with a book and glass of wine.

To crypto. I bought into it a month ago and I have to admit I have got the bug and yes it is like gambling.

I put £150 in as my initial investment. I invested it over SHIB, DOGE and Sol equally. The crypto market crashed the next day and I lost $80 in one day of my original investment of $200.

It doesn’t matter where in the world you live once your into the world of crypto everything is compared to bitcoin and /or the dollar in your mind.

My crypto ‘gambling ticket’ is now wavering about the $125-$140 but none of my ponies are in any way out of the race. SHIB could make it to $1 value and then I would be a millionaire. Again it’s like I am at the fence watching the hooves thunder down the track towards the finish line with me in for the chance of being a big winner.

Now here’s the beauty with this crypto gambling. Say SHIB goes under and I lose that £50 (or $75) original investment.

You would be right in thinking I lost £50. But, I was in with a chance to be a millionaire… possibly outside odds but still.

I have got another 2 ponies in the race and it does add some excitement to life.

It’s more subdued than going to the races. More suited to the more informed gambler of today than before. The race has only just begun and it will out live you.

But you could be in for some fun seeing as this ‘bookie’ can be ‘beat’.

Crypto has made more millioniares than poker.
