” And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?”
– Trump on curing Covid-19, Apr 2020.
I have to agree with some, he’s been the worst president in the history of the USA. He’s brought reality TV behaviour to the White House. Being outrageous gets you browny points. And left a wake of upheaval behind him.
But he’s GONE. My predition was he would lose by a landslide and then divide the GOP. He’s done me proud.
Not only in this but in another more personal matter he’s helped me on in leaps and bounds.
10 years ago I set up a page on fb called Global Peace Index and its purpose was to promote world peace. In the 6 years before Trump came to power it had garnered less than 100 likes/follows. In the 4 years since Trump won in 2016 it is now over 500!
There can be no doubt the world has been kept sat on the edge of its seat for a while and can now breathe a big sigh of relief.
We can thank Trump for this also. Delusions of Grandeur are a major issue in this world we live in.
A colloary is Elon Musk.
He’s made the electric car the thing for the motoring industry and paved the way for cheap space flight and communte free cities.
Elon Musk is entitled to have a feeling of genuine grandeur about his day from his list of products.
Someone who thinks they have great products while they do not in fact produce anything have delusions of grandeur. That is Trump, and his ardent supporters.
‘A great us (nation)’, ‘Us vs ….(them), ‘It was all his/her/their fault!’ have all been used before to inspire the masses. Hitlers a key example there.
And it works. Too many people gravitate towards what is for them an ‘ultimate leader’ for the minority of us. In Trumps case he pandered to the far-right white supremacy ilk and they think him their God to some degree.
Which is scary.
When sheeple follow leaders like Trump with unquestioning loyalty you have the ingredients of a dictator ship. How cults are built. If a leader ever has wall to wall support from his followers, danger lurks. We should all be accountable.
Trump thinks he’s not accountable. He’s deluded that he can do no wrong.
So he doubles down everytime things do not come out to his liking.
Reminds me of King Solomon commanding the tide to not rise.
And with the far-right being his core, Hitler.
Good riddance.
