Operation: Sore Throat

November 28, 2020

Being born into Scientology it was always protrayed to me as the perfect way to live and the only solution to all mans woes. However with it being its own version of reality in fact in opposition to world norms it turns out it causes more shit than it solves.. or does it?

I think those in and out can all agree Scientology has rocked to boat some.

Its caused waves. In some famalies they have been tsunami’s with at times fatal outcomes.

I know my uncle died at the hands of a Scientologist ‘friend’ who adminstered a heroin overdose to him. My aunt (his ex-wife) used acces to my counsins to establish his address, a Scientology mole befriended him and after spending an evening drinking with my uncle left him sleeping it off in his canal barge with the gas oven on and unignited which resulted in my uncles death.

I remembered my aunts celebrations of his death.

I also remember my parents discussing the killing of my older brother for being ‘retarded’. They wanted to join Scientologies Sea Org with him but ‘retards’ and the Sea Org are not compatible. ‘We would rather have you dead than incapable’ is the line they use.

So, to defend this slightly outlandish view of the world, one key thing is needed. A counter-espionage army to throw at authorities.

Witness the harassment of Danny Mattersons’ rape accussers. The ‘church’ of Scientology is throwing its might behind him to protect their cash cow. Kinda handy to have a 3bn cult behind you when your a rapist.

Same treatment was used with its current leaders father in 1980 on the condition that he join the Sea Org. Currently headed by his son.

But its these under the counter activities that define Scientology as a cult.

If it was just some folk who followed Hubbard in believing we are all descended from aliens from the Marcab confederacy (the South Park episode about Xenu is a bit cheap as they are confidential religous materials which all religions are entitled to, however Hubbard disccuses’ humans coming from aliens in the ‘Marcab confederancy’ in his lowest level of auditing instructions Level 0) then that would but be fine by me, but that they use espionage against government bodies to achive their ends and abuse the courts so much to go after those who ‘reveal’ Scn is an alien religion is my gripe. Your right to defend your belief is absolute, your right to break the law is zilch.

Abusing the courts and law in my book is for those who have shit to hide. So stop hiding your shit is the solution.

Be an alien religion, own it, admit it and stop trying to prosecute those who try say you are.

Of course. this tendancy to use your might to protect rapists and child molesters who pay you enough is beyond what is right.

There is another side. Operation Sore Throat from Scientology and the ‘turn the other cheek’ vibe from the Catholic church need to own their shit.

Opus Die and Scientologies Office of Special affairs need to own what they are.

Counter insurgency arms within a religion to ‘protect’ them.

Which while they are being attacked might be acceptable but for going after those have left or art critical – makes you a anti-social cult and not a religion to the degree that your members practice such things.

But we have to excuse them for this.

Scientology and the Catholic church have challenged a number of secular institutions over time and exposed actual crimes on behalf of the general populice, so can we right them off as all bad?
