My Argument Against Anti-Abortion

November 23, 2020

I get it. For some, when someones pregnant then they are now responsible for anothers chance at life. Which is true beyond doubt.

Being irresponsible with your body while bearing a child is just not a good idea..

Women have a wonderful gift in this and it is and should be sacred.

However there are of course obvious occassions when this is not the case.

When the pregnancy could result in death to the mother and/or the child, if the pregnancy was the result of a rape or if the mother is unable to care for the child.

I think the first two explain themselves.

But to blame someone for an unwanted pregnancy is unreasonable.

Why? There’s 100- shades of grey in these circumstances.

Passing laws on this is brutal to many and perhaps the right thing in some cases.

If someones getting an abortion a year for being irresponsible with their body and perhaps selling themself for sex and getting pregnant as a result and then aborting it in habit – I would not stand by this in any way.

How common is that though. How many women have a one night stand and want to complete university…

There’s 1000s of arguments.

When does the state have a right to have a say in dealing with this and therefore pass a sweeping law?

My answer is – FUCKING NEVER!

Let me refer you to my own mother. She was ordered to bear children for her religion (cult) and did. She had 7 children and aborted her 8th. Per order to her masters. For the sake of the cults ‘church’.

Here is my issue.

If someone wants to be just a breeder and pop them out. Its bullshit but again there is choice to say no.

If someone gets pregnant through any unforeseen event – again choice should be paramount.

If we want to argue the unborn childs already alive you can fuck off to the philiosophy department and debate the meaning of life. It’s unborn. End.

Would we accept a law being passed men should be snipped until they can responsibly bring up a family?!

Exactly.

A state should not be passing such laws.

I would extend this to drug consumption, radical speech and free assembly and religuos pursuit.

If the states getting involved with widespread sweeping laws then should be quite rightly be overthrown and told to fuck off.

Should someone want to subscribe to a religion or adhere to it – then that is there choice and this should also be respected by the state. For them to enforce this view on others harps back to the 3rd reich enforcing their view of themselves on the world.

States are on percarious grounds in this issue and when its a well debated argument the states best course of action is to shut the fuck up. Enforcing their ‘wizened’ views of life on others with laws is bullshit.

A state is their to serve the needs of people. People are not their to serve the needs of the state.

Unless your a nazi.
