If you need me to agree with your beliefs to be connected with me then you are in Scientology for the wrong reason.
Scientology is about making the able more able. So if your insecure enough that you need your view of the world agreed on by everyone you interact with then that is its own issue.
Scientology is unique. Its hard wired with the technology to quite frankly be a bad ass and serious religion about getting people onto and through OT VII – to save the world.*
It has a beauty about it. A group that does adhere to its own ethics. Clean living for its memebrs etc.
I have seen half my immediate family run out the door to help with international disaster rescues more than once. If the leader of Scientology says ‘Jump’ a lot of people ask ‘how high’ and it is per captia one of the richest religions going. The level of gungho competence that can be achieved my Scientologies Sea Orgs members is nigh on miracle levels at times.
Its members are generous with their money for book/services and donations. As a rule.
But as we proceed through the 21st century with you in our midst, be careful how you are with your disonnecting of disaffected members (some related to you), your anti-scientologist personal slander websites and anti-squirrel campaigns. You may not be responsible for doing this yourself but the church your supporting is. **
None of it is helping your group/religious pursuit be welcome in this world.
Being anti big pharma is great. Being pro human rights and literacy with less crime is all a good line. As is drug free addicts. Where’s the products though?
And erm; death to the psychs?!
For that matter, death to anyone?!!!…
“We’d rather have you dead than incapable.” KSW Series 1, its bad writing this into a religious policy litrature. How far will it be taken? Those ‘psychs’ are members of famalies as well.
Yes they have a different outlook on life to you. Ok.
LRH of course said they are the SPs on the time track and are and have always been the real badies in the world.
Ok death (or reform) to the field of psycharity may well have some merit, but this death to psychiarty campaign… people can take things literally and some do.
So if your saying things like ‘death to psychiarity’ and ‘we would rather have you dead than incapable’ then some will actually take this literally.
How far can this view of ‘If your not with us your against me’ go?
There is one case I am witness to whereby one couple ended up wanting to kill 2 of their kids as they were not ‘capable’ enough to be scientologists.
This is no joke. These 2 parents earnesty discussed killing off two of their own kids because they did not fit the mould enough for scientology, which they were very much into.
I know this as the kids names were Tony Jackson and David Jackson.
Tonys my brother.
I was 5 when I witnessed this..
Both my folks took effort later in life to ensure I knew it was the other one who instigated that conversation. I was 34 when my father told me my mother wanted to kill off Tony when I was 5. I was 36 when my mother told me my father wanted to kill off Tony when I was 5.
Personally I’d rather they had not ended up in a place where they felt it appropriate to have such a conversation and to then blame each other for it to me… People should not be discussing how to kill there ‘not good enough’ kids.
At the time, they were trying to work out how to join Scientologies Sea Org with Tony and myself ‘in tow’. With Tony being mentally disabled joining the Sea Org with him was not an option. Body disposal problems saved my brothers life from my parents in the end.
When I left Scientology 6 years ago my mother said she will never speak to me again and to call the sammaritans in future if I needed a person to talk to.
A suicide prevention charity… dropping the hints eh, mother ‘dear’? Another ethics practice in Scientology is to put a head on the pike. Of the 7 kids my mother gave birth to 5 of them are still fit for purpose, being good scientologists. However Tony and me are lost to her cause and her.
Since you wish two of your sons dead for the sake of your religion, I seek the demise of it for the sake of humanities famalies and kids rights to be brought up by a loving family, not a parent who is solely and only an agent of the ‘church’ who would even considered killing her own for its purposes.
David.
*OT VII involves you sitting in a room and talking to yourself on an e-meter everday 2/3 times for half an hour… and its suppose to be theraputic for the ‘global soul’. To do this advanced service costs $40,000/year and takes 4-5 years.
** I suspect some who read this will immediately want to disconnect from me now. But thats the only thing wrong with Scientology. If you keep disconnecting it reduces your reach and its now all well documented so disconnect as is your wont but your proving my point that your being a cultist in a religion that lends itself to members behaving as though they were in a cult. My own folks being proof of quite bad cult behaviour but not even worst case scenarios. The death of my uncle Alister after he left Scn is suspicious to say the least.
