I call it the march of the righteous. Pick your god or his prince. Jesus, Mohammed, Hubbard, Manson or Buddha. They all have followings.
But despite differences they all shared this in common with c-19 – our divine right will protect us. Or, our take on life is better than theirs.
It’s an attempt to convince the followers that they are the only one with THE answer. And they all echo one another in sentiment despite different origins the tunes the same.
We are THE ONLY ONES. Who have the right to be righteous. It’s a too common flaw in ism’s.
It’s the march of those who think they are more right about everything over everyone who is not one of them. For the most it is kept to a sane level but there are some instances where we need to say Hold Up! WTF!
Muslims licking religious artefacts in Iran at the outbreak of c-19.
US christians armed anti-lockdown protests.
Evangelists claiming money given to them will offer divine protection.
Scientologies, another humanity drama.
Doomsday prophets.
It’s all a different flavour of I or We am/are the only answer for you…
And.
It’s just old now.
Science is fact and belief is subjective opionion based on nothing more than what the believers believe in.
Having a faith could also be called, sharing a collective delusion.
Keeping faith, is a moral strength that means being true to you and yours.
It behooves all riding in on a high horse to check in on the fruits of their trodden paths.
It’s not all as righteous as the righteous would have you believe.
If it was then it’d be science and not belief.
It about right vs righteous and the insecure need means to enforce their ‘righteous’.
Those who are right after peer review are oft the most humble and soft spoken folk you’ll ever meet with a heart 1000 bigger than their ego.
Einstein, Jonas Salk and Marie Carie had to have their songs sang for them as they never for a moment stopped in their endeavor to ask for a boost to their ego… they just got on with it.
Those who want churches built in their name… Need their ego pampered for a reason.
