The Waking World

January 21, 2020

Is pissed off.

This is a very vague idea but most will agree with me.

I reckon prior to the year 2000 most of the people in the world were mostly oblivious to what was going on. For example most over 60s were still rejecting that dang fangled internet thingy.

Since 2000 I would say most of the world has access to most of whats going on. Now just about everyone has google at their finger tips.

However vague, one and all can agree, the average Joe who earns a basic wage has much more access to information and most are taking advantage and the vast majority – are just constantly getting more pissed off.

People are showing up to vote in record numbers. Protests are becoming bigger and more prevalent.

I have never known a time of so many marches in the streets.

The lay of the land in the world is changing with more extreme weather events that get harder to deny with each one.

The geo-political landscape is becoming fraught between not the right and the left but between the old guard and what is right.

The days of sending our waste to Asia are over. The days of doing nothing about pollution are over. We’re now having to clean up the beeches and sea’s ourselves. Nation states are not doing it.

It is of note that it is no longer the US government that is the catalyst to drive us towards space exploration but doing it ourselves.

As stopping universal healthcare or threatening it where it does exist is something that some politico’s push for, most must wonder what the fuck they think they are playing at.

So as wars are waged, statespeople the world over try drum up a higher sense to nationalism to bolster their own importance the average Joe just is not falling for their bullshit anymore.

World peace and not being dependant on fossil fuels require only us all to agree on this as a joint endeavor to accomplish.

The question is coming into the fore now as to why this is not being done already?

Little of war now is a result of historical inertia but is manufactured on a daily basis by those who profit from the arms trade.

As the people of the world come together more they will be harder to divide and conquer by the powers that be.

In the final analysis we are all running out of room in which to play make believe.

So the big wigs better wise up some.

We still have guillotines.
