If we had to come up with a constitution for a space nation what would we end up with?
Ok so we already have a ‘multi-national’ space nation which is NOT ‘multi-national’ as space nation is it’s own nation now. However of course people currently by immigrants from different nations on Earth.
With no government… For now.
Humanity is not with precedence for this situation either with naval law.
Both also conveniently share two common factors there is more than enough room to operate for one and all and also it is more constructive to the degree we are more cooperative.
Laws, necessity and purpose seem to be the best means to date of enforcing cooperation.
The open sea and outer space offer plenty of room for all three of course.
But personally I think we should have a sea nation peopled and governed and a space nation peopled and governed. The folks on land I think would be in the spot to play catch up.
As the world has previously born it’s last nation that became a super power. Why should the space and sea be 2 more. It would shift the world ‘dynamic’ some.
And if we keep cooking the equator the seas and space are likely to more quickly than not end up prominent powers as nations themselves anyway.
Imagine every nation would have to pay a tarriff to use the sea’s and space. Transit through the Panama and Suez Canal are prime examples on the rights of passage and it’s place on the military stage.
This is not legislation that will be lead by those at the top of Earths natios but it will determine the rest of eternity for man in the universe.
