My intention with my blog is to try inspire some critical/imaginative thought and add a little ‘what if?’ to any life I can.
While not a fan of authority or dogma (they have got us to where we are) I am supportive of science and innovation (which has got us where we are).
I detest the flat earthers as much as the anti-vaxxers and support private space enterprise and the arts in any and all forms. For me SpaceX and spiritualism out trump politics and religion.
But more important than anything I started blogging to have the right to an opinion. People like myself who can just as easily think out of the box as call a spade a spade have a nasty habit of coming up with out of the box ideas that can work – if tried.
Thus my 127,000 word novel about wizards saving Earth from destruction in 2034, with a slew of ideas about future tech is aimed to inspire young teenagers.
But you first have to learn the art of questioning what is already established and be willing to make a fool of yourself.
You have to be willing to be wrong as well as right.
Being righteous is the best way to being a nazi traditionalist who would wind back the clock to 1935!
A lack of prejudice, a thirst for advancement, an unthinkable imagination and a need to break rules makes the artist and research scientists who burst the boundaries of existence.
Prejudice, a demand of obedience, a tunnel vision view of sticking to the rules are the hallmarks of the copper and prison guard. While both serve their purpose neither are fields of endeavor that hold creativity and happiness as priorities.
The dullest thing one could ever say is ‘That’s just the way it is.’
