However now anyone can do it. The world got a pleasant surprise when the wonderful US of A elected Obama as her president. First black president, progressive, won the Nobel Peace Prize (later failed it) but essentially a professional politician that in the end failed again to please everyone.

Then Trump comes along with his rhetoric ‘criminal/rapists Mexicans’ ‘just grab em by the pussy’ ‘there is a Muslim problem’ ‘there is no climate change problem’ and aims to take the US of A back to a time of greatness in the 60s (when he thought the world was great thanks to his inherited fortune) when the KKK were at their height.

In today’s world stage, to deliberately lead your country 50 years into the past socially while the tech world advances ridiculously is quite simply whistling past the graveyard.

But while the Us of A is fast gunning for becoming an international rogue nation there is a light at the end of the tunnel. With the surprise of Obama and then the shock of Trump (which continues as he continues to double down on his rhetoric) there is hope.

Marrianne Williamson, for the little I know already she’s winning hearts and raising the right pulses. And the world now know in US politics it’s anyone’s game. Being a voter in the US is likely to become exciting and I think Trump has had his day already.

So while her philosophy is being compared to Scientology, let me draw on that comparison. The Scientology philosophy is absolutely ultra conservative and very capitalist and the only dist in L.A. that voted pro Trump was where all the Scientologists live and one of the most bigot’d scientologist I know bet £100 on Trump to win the election when the odds where 11/1. He got over a grand back on betting on Trump.

Like Tom Cruise, Trump is an idol for most Scientologists. His drain the swamp views are revered as much as respected and loved faithfully. They really are do or die hard asses.

Marrianne seems to be more grounded in the real world. Not doubling down on their support bases like Scientology and Trump but awake and paying attention to the progress in the world. She’s ready to embrace change versus running back to some former perceived glory that is only achievable with time travel.
