Own it already. And censoring your members. And the 75 trillion years ago thing.
It’s ‘illegal’ for me to mention the name of the group I am referring to (see I can’t – free speech also, cancelled) as is the right to ones own opinion. There is only ONE outlook to have on life if your with this lot.
So what’s involved then all in?
That is to, cross the chasm to immortality only our way… (it’s not a new idea, been around for about 2000 years now). But when your answer should include familial disconnection, enforced censorship and a healthy price tag, then just own it at least.
You do offer a badass community to be a member of and another way to being immortal (albeit it it’s not the cheapest, it’s cool none the less).
People with wee man syndrome like to hide behind systems that they are in control of. It’s a safety mechanism for those hiding from their own insecurities and empower them to feel like they have more control of others. The lying is needed to keep the ball rolling. Typical 10 year old behaviour, a thing religion in general is known for and that is retarding emotional maturity – thus the job to disconnection.
Here’s the problem – the more you use disconnection then the more you have to. The problem with this as a solution is you end up on your own ultimately. The members you abuse die off and you create so much of a stink with so much disconnection that getting new members becomes too hard. It is a very very very effective way to kill a movement. Employ disconnection to the degree that you do and you are on your own in the end.
The movement in question, that I can not mention by name (due to it’s own rules), will out last it’s current leader but it’s had it’s hay day.
In the 80s it stood tall and proud. 100s of thousands of members. Mega hey day time. Every event fully attended, highest ever stats every week, plenty of curious walk ins and loads of public interested. Now, 10s of thousands of members and what, a very very very dirty back yard that is being denied. Protest marches against it!, unattended events, declining membership… and a lot of unneeded fancy real estate.
Call me the enemy if you like. But it needs said for Scn to survive.
There comes a point when doubling down on disconnecting to protect your own interests results in you having only your own interests. If you disconnect all the time – you end up with no movement.
But a healthy bank account and real estate portfolio. Ok.
That was not the founders intent! or was it?
His name is sure written into eternity.
Controversy does garner interest.
Compassion/controversy.
