The Puppet and their Masters

December 29, 2018

Divide and conquer is the easiest. Unite and advance is the corollary to that. Hate or compassion are the fuels.

The puppets want to be led and the masters want to stay masters. Most leaders start of with the notion of unite and advance but if their tenure as the master is called into question then the immediate option easily available to said master is the divide and conquer method and it’s not a broad boundary between the two.

A lot can be lost in the idea of doing a little harm for the better good. Or breaking a few eggs to make an omelette.

Take for example a few key life issues… diet, sexual orientation, religion, political bent, career choices and of course believing in money or no.

If you moved to Mars tomorrow not a one of them would matter one dot. They are all social constructs and quite frankly a means of almost having identity and ultimately try and impose that on others if one is so inclined.

All of which for the most part are entirely a matter of a person preference. Some alergies and medical conditions can of course limit what one can eat. I think the jury is still out on whether being gay is a birth right or personal choice.

But very few would argue that they can all be divisive issues among us. Again if you were part of the first colony on Mars – none of those concerns would be paramount.

And we do all love to have a bit of a bleat and it seems to be an increasing trend. Social media is bombarded with it. So many opinions lining up on the left and lining up on the right I am really happy to stand in the middle and be called the joker, with anyone who agrees at the madness of it.

Our leaders, sorry msters, are laughing their heads off as we all think we’re just grabbing them by the tail. They’re laughing. As we become more opinionated and divisive on social media etc… they abuse it.

Trumps election campaign/presidency to date. The Arab spring, resulted in massive division and infringement on our privacy rights on social media under the guise of the ‘war on terror’.

As we reach out for power of our own lives once again we are being told we have to hate/despise some faction of society. The pedo Catholic Priests, The Muslim Terrorist, The Greedy Banker (although that sounds more than too likely), The corrupt undemocractic governments in other countries, the gays, the Nazi’s, the Democrats, the WASPS… ad infintium. The list goes on forever.

It’s good to self-identify. One should.

I was sat in a gay pub once debating the pro’s and cons of gay marriages. He was arguing for adopting rights and I was playing the devils advocate. He got a little wound up and said “Once gay marriage is legal we’re going to campaign to make hetrosexual marriage illegal” at which point I thought, right there is the line.

You have every right to live as you will as long as you do it with decency as you interact with others however you have no right to impose anything on another unless they are having a direct negative effect on you and that includes yours views and lifestyle.

What you and yours do behind closed doors as long as the kids and pets are safely sound. But when you interact with the world one should have decorum and respect for the fact that not one and all may want to live as you do.

The puppet masters are abusing our inclination to behave otherwise.

Unite and be uncoquearable. We need war as much as we need division.

Unless one just follows the piper.
