Vindication is a Lie

August 18, 2018

It does not exist anywhere in reality. Only ones head. One can not achieve a state of being vindicated but only the feeling of it.

Revenge is not the same. That tells someone to stop trying to cause you hurt. Vindication harms another who deserves hurt in your own mind only. It’s your problem not theirs causing this ‘need’ for vindication and once it’s ‘achieved’ there is only one person in the world helped by the matter. The vindicator.

People in the past may have been ‘protected’ as a consequence from some act of revenge. Vindication only helps a sadist who actually enjoys seeing hurt in another.

If a force brings trouble to my door I will do what I need to in order to remove the source of the trouble. Once nullified I don’t have to then make sure they fail.

Revenge tells an aggressor to stop attacking. Vindication is about fulfilling some sadistic side of the person doing it. If a threat is no longer a threat or never was and a person still feels the need to unempower them and see them fail, it’s a sign of selfishness, cruelity and tells of weakness and insecurity in the vindictator. Not any kind of strength or honour.

Typical in a person’s view of their ex. That doesn’t however make it in any way shape or form useful other than to fulfill an insecure person sadistic tendencies.

This need to be vindicated also shows up in the fields or religion, politics and money. It’s is no where near the fault of religion, politics or money but vindictive people using them as an excuse to carry out their own sadistic purposes.

While relationships, beliefs (religious or political) money (business) all lend themself to abuse by the vindictive, you don’t have to be vindictive in these field, unless your sadistic.

Have your vengenance but don’t call it glory, brave or honourable. It is the acts of insecure cowards that bring on vindictiveness and it’s childish as much as it’s cruel.
