So should any religion ever abandon a member of its congregation for committing evil acts? <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such is the case with Danny Masterson. He raped women while a member of Scientology. Scientology &#8216;handled&#8217; him internally with their own &#8216;justice&#8217; but the women themselves were not given any justice. Masterson just had to donate more to the Scientology cause to &#8216;make up the damage&#8217; but the women themselves got no closure. <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until they left Scientology and took him to court. Where he was sentenced to 30 years in jail for raping them. <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now Scientology has expelled Masterson.
